The Lido

Lido Sabbioso is located in the Parco Torre San Giovanni, in the stretch of coast bathed by the Ionian Sea, between Gallipoli and Santa Maria di Leuca, where white sand gently meets the crystal-clear sea.

The beach, framed by sand dunes dotted with dense Mediterranean scrub, is a wild natural oasis caressed by the sea breeze, where guests are pampered by discreet and professional staff of Lido Sabbioso for moments of authentic relaxation.

Since 1988, Lido Sabbioso has offered relaxation and fun in the heart of Salento, just a few steps from the old watchtower of Torre San Giovanni.

The bathing establishment’s shoreline is long and deep, with compact, very fine sand: a Caribbean landscape that offers an exotic experience with the scents of the Mediterranean. The clear sea has a shallow water, suitable even for younger children and less experienced swimmers, while on the beach, umbrellas are spaced widely apart to ensure guests have space and privacy.

Guests can choose between:

Traditional Area: stations with white canvas umbrellas, two sunbeds and a deck chair;

Relax Area: larger straw umbrellas and maxi sunbeds for greater privacy.

A comfortable walkway that allows access to the sea without any discomfort, even for disabled people, thanks to the use of the job chair available at the lido and guided paths.

The cheerful and professional staff of the bathing establishment is always attentive but never intrusive.

Note: The guarded parking lot is adjacent to the facility but is not managed by Lido Sabbioso.
